Lawyer from Universidad de Chile (1986–1990). Postgraduate in management and administration from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (1995-1996). Diploma in Introduction to American Law, Center for American and International Law, Dallas (2001); Intellectual property from Universidad de Chile’s Law School (2008), and in Tax planning from Universidad de Chile’s Finance School (2018).
His professional experience spans more than 25 years, and includes work at Cuevas Abogados, which he founded with other partners in 2002; Cariola Díez Pérez Cotapos & Cia, Unilever Chile and the Crédit Lyonnais bank. Between 2010 and 2014, he was selected by the President of Chile to be a part of the National Counsel for Smaller Companies, a consulting instance for the Ministry of Finance in entrepreneurial matters.
Specialized in commercial and tax law linked to companies, mergers, acquisitions and company reorganizations in general, his practice also includes areas such as infrastructure and concessions, real state law and construction.
